Word Wise does not collect any personal data, contact information, location data, identifiers, usage data, or analytics. Specifically:
Word Wise stores your learning progress — such as vocabulary you have practised, your XP, streaks, levels, and badges — locally on your device. This information stays on your iPhone or iPad. It is not transmitted to Idabyte or any third party.
If you delete the app, this information is deleted along with it.
Word Wise is designed for children aged 11 to 13 and is offered in Apple's Kids Category. We take children's privacy seriously and have built the app to comply with:
Because Word Wise collects no personal information at all, no information is collected from children either. There is nothing to access, no profiles to share, and no data to sell.
Word Wise does not integrate with any third-party services, social networks, advertising platforms, or external APIs. Apple's standard App Store services (such as in-app purchase, if used in future versions) are governed by Apple's own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
If we ever introduce optional features that require any data processing (for example, optional cloud sync via iCloud), we will update this policy and clearly explain what changes before those features become available.
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have rights including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Because Word Wise collects no personal data, there is no information for us to access, correct, or delete on our servers — but you can clear all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.

Because all app data stays on your device, security is largely provided by Apple's built-in iOS protections, including device-level encryption when your device is locked. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a passcode.
Word Wise is available worldwide on the App Store. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is no international data transfer.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if we add new features that handle data differently. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice within the app or on this page.
